The author's cameo...
« on: May 25, 2009, 04:58:48 AM »
...is one of the most forced cameo I've seen in film. Usually good cameos doesn't distract from the flow of the film, or the person has a small role that advance the story.

Yeah, it was bad.  I still think Stan Lee's are worse though because his overblown ego insists on having some lame dialogue in each movie.  But yeah, this one was bad.

Wait, I think I missed it (though I haven't seen the movie since it was in theaters, still need to watch the riff >_<).

And for the record I'm usually OK with Stan's cameos, mostly since they're small enough that they go by quickly (though I liked the Iron Man one).

I didn't notice her cameo either because I have no idea what she looks like (and I'm proud of that).... where was it? (And I like Stan's cameos too)

I'm not surprised people missed it, it's so small and she's really just there in the background

I didn't recognize her, so I just thought it was a poorly framed shot of a fat woman.

Count me in.  It's like looking for Hitchcock in each of his films.

I think all 3 riffs made some mention of her at that point so if you pick up any of the riffs, she's pointed out.

yeah, see, if I knew what she looked like it would have been obvious, but, like the rest of you, never knew what she looked like. Hitch's cameos (near the beginning of his career before he was so famous and had to make them more obvious and at the beginning) were much more fun. And anyway, I prefer to think of her cameo as the one the Three Musketeers point out in the rifftrax--the one at the end. "It's twilight author Stephanie Meyer and she's not happy. OH NO!!! SHE HAS A GUN!!!" (something like that)

She's also the odd looking person at the end that is watching Bella and Edward, who then turns and walks towards the camera.

So lame.

The Rifftrax made a joke about that being her, but it was actually the evil vampire Victoria that was watching them.

So lame.

She's also, secretly, Batman.
