Voldemort's Limerick
« on: April 27, 2009, 12:01:58 AM »
What is the rest of Bill's limerick? I'm dying to know and cannot piece it together...

Anyone with the last "6 words"? :)

My best guess is that it ends with "short."

(Other candidates include: support, retort, report, resort and venereal wart.)

Of course, it'd have to be six single-syllable words, considering there are six syllables in that final line and the powers that be say there are only six words left unheard.

"There once was a wizard named Voldemort,
Who partied all night in Hyannis Port.
He awoke feeling sore,
Pulled out twelve dollars more,
And said, 'Madam, if you'd help, I feel short.'"

Average RiffTrax earn a C.

Star Wars Holiday Special: A+; The Room: A; Twilight: A; Eragon: A-; Firewall: A-; Batman and Robin: B+; Battlefield Earth: B; Titanic: B-
Casablanca: C+; The Matrix: C;  Aeon Flux: C-; The Sixth Sense: C-; Spider-Man: D+; X-Men: D; Island of Dr. Moreau: D; 300: F

Out of the list you gave, only the last one would seem to warrant the reaction by Mike & Serv... err Kevin. There's nothing "scary" (as Mike interjects) about "short".

Have thought it may end with something that rhymes with "more", as in a lady of the night.

This is maddening!!

That's it Corbett! Spill the beans! Then tell us your intent!

I want to know what limerick would scare both Man & Mike alike.

You guys think Corbett would really go so far as to use an obscure town like "Hyannis Port" unless he didn't have the exceptional rhyme to go with it?  I submit the rest of the limerick probably goes something like this:

There once was a wizard named Voldemort,
Who partied all night in Hyannis Port.
He awoke feeling sore,
Pulled out twelve dollars more,
And said, 'Madam, please scrape off my anus wart'

@MaxFagin
That's the best one yet! (and totally justifies Mike & Kev's responses hahahah)
