My university account finally expired so I no longer have a host for my subtitles. I just wanted to let everyone know that I WILL re-upload them to another host and I WILL start making subtitles again soon.

that's discouraging.  I used subrip right from the discs and they are all synced perfectly on my reauthors.  I don't know if it matters, but I used the NTSC disc (but i'm assuming you did as well.)  I used DVDprolab to reauthor.  Are you just having the sync problem with those two?

Alright, I finally caught up on my reauthors. I have subs up for everything except Paranormal Activity which is giving me a headache of sync issues.

For anyone having issues syncing up any subtitles, use Subtitle Workshop. You can play a WAV of the movie audio using the Movie->Open.. command in the menu. Using that, you can see if all the subtitles are in sync and adjust them accordingly.  The "adjust subtitles..." command in the Edit->Timings menu is the one I use if a movie can't be synced by setting a delay. It syncs the first and last lines of the movie and interpolates everything in between.

Does any one have any Armageddon subs the sync?  I've been having the worst luck with subs lately.

I'm new to RiffReauthoring and I've done about 4 so far.  I want to start adding subtitles but NOT the movie subs.  I want to add subtitles for the RiffTrax commentary.
Are there .srt files for the RiffTrax commentary out there anywhere?

all the subs provided are for the movies.  if you wanted subs for the commentary itself, you would have to make those your self by transcribing and encoding them.  it would be a whole lot of work, and personally, i don't think it would be worth it.  Unless you are hearing impaired and can't hear the riffs, i would think it wouldn't be worth trying because i don't think it would be anywhere near as funny reading the jokes as hearing them.
