Why are we still talking about the plot to Twilight.  It was written by a stupid sexist for stupid sexist.  It's like trying to figure out the plot logic to The Room.  The person behind it always wins because there is no logic and we just go mad trying to figure out something that isn't there.

Lisa's beauty in her red dress was all the logic that we need.

That's what the hybrid vampire/human baby can say to Jacob when she comes out and he "imprints" on her (cuz for some reason she can talk almost from birth).

I learned that the movie is so boring that even less than thirty minutes in, the riffers had to focus on armadillo-related continuity flubs to keep themselves (and us) entertained.

And entertain us it did!

Finally watched Twilight for the first time.  thanks for putting the riffs for the two movies on sale.
What's the deal about playing baseball in the thunderstorm?  The storm's already passed them by, right? The ground's muddy but nobody gets dirty.  Vampire powers can include bad cgi tree-climbing, mind-reading, super-speed, ability to thread a baseball through a hundred trees, but not the ability to stay away from high school even when you look like you're 30.

My sympathies to anyone who has read these books. Does Meyer really clarify her version of vampire rules on garlic, fangs, daylight or does it all seem to be randomly pulled from her ass?

Second movie arrives from Netflix tomorrow so it will be a teen-angsty weekend for me.

Despite their centuries of accumulated knowledge and experience, vampires will assume that just because your name is "Bella", that they should cook you an Italian dinner.

And despite becoming vampires as full grown humans, you forget all basic skills like cooking and have to learn from videos all over again.
