Okay, I can post this now that the trax is out.

I saw these in the grocery store over the weekend:

Yes, some of the hearts are "glittery" and have even creepier messages than the standard valentine hearts. Joy!

(As a food, they're just the standard hearts, but these have a bit of fruit flavoring, so they're not bad.)

You...actually BOUGHT these?

Ronin bought me a package of these (and before you crazy rumour hungry people start something he bought one for his married roommate too)

they taste like shit

The orange ones weren't too bad, but yeah they mostly tasted like every other kind of candy heart.

That's 'cause it's not real.  As far as I can tell, official posters haven't been released yet.  The story that image is attached to isn't real either.

Lrrr: "Blech! These candies are chalky and unpleasant!"
Ndndna: "And what is this emotion you humans call 'wuv'?"
Lrrr: "Surely it says 'love'."
Wife: "No, 'wuv'! With an Earth 'w'. Behold!"
Ndndna: "This concept of 'wuv' confuses and infuriates us!"

I'm more interested in what Count Blah has to say about it.

Or even Count Von Count....

Vun, Vun angsty sparklepire!
Two, two emo sparklepires!
Three, three teenybopper sqee-fest sparklepires! Ah ah ah!

From the preview of this film, it seemed like Bella was channeling Wanda Sachnusen's (Kathy Ireland in the Alien from L.A. experiment) emotional range of.....

DULL SURPRISE!
now, if she had a ultrasonic squeaky voice instead of her emotionless monotone, the film might have been more amusing....

Ugh . . . Don't say that! As much as I used to have a crush on Kathy, that voice should not be wished upon anyone's ears. Very astute on the emotional range of Bella's emoting, though.

I have to admit, I am reluctantly amused by the campy tone of these candies.

Tempting Apple (Bite Me). Nice to see Bill helped with the messages.

Hey...."Bite Me" has been in the riffing lexicon a lot longer than Bill.
