well mail call is all about the mundane stuff in military.  I watched an entire episode of on the C ration and then another one on the Ka-bar knife.  Its minutia like that, that truly makes that show rule.

What!?  You DARE mock paint?  The twenty-first wonder of the world?  Well, mister, before you question the greatness of paint, just ask yourself...where would you be without paint?  What would you put on your car to keep it from rusting?  What would you huff in the morning?  If you're not careful, Oily the Paint Sprite will magically appear and fix things so they'll get that way!

Just as long as Socksy doesn't come and take my socks again. Between him and the underpants gnomes I'm having a heck of a time keeping my undergarments stocked.

As for this forum, I have to agree that it is a pretty good group of people. This and the MST3K Board are pretty much the only ones I frequent. My low post count is mostly due to what I have to say having already been said a lot of the time and redundancy is one of those things I try to shy away from. Run-on sentences on the other hand . . .

Hey, MS Paint can be used to make great works of modern art.  Just take a look at this MS Paint drawing of a fairly hot brontosaurus having breakfast:

One thing I've noticed about this board as opposed to other boards is that it seems a little more... formal than other boards I've been on.  I mean, we're all very respectful of other people's opinions, but it doesn't seem as warm or familiar as people on some of the other boards I frequent.  Maybe it's because this is still a fairly new message board, or maybe it's because there's more members here than other places.  But on (voice actor) Billy West's message board, for instance, if I haven't posted for awhile, people ask where I've been.  I haven't seen that here, yet.  Again, maybe it's that we haven't all known each other that long, or that there's so many people to keep track of, it's difficult to notice if one stops posting for awhile.  I don't know.

Hmm.  I disagree.  This has always felt like a "buddy" board to me.  Maybe I'm wrong.

I feel like I "know" a lot of the people around here as far as a board persona can be known. :^) There's not a lot of, "And how are the kids?" around here, but there's anticipation of certain people responding to certain questions posed. I like this place. I'll kill it last. :^)

I think these boards are very nice  :)

Please don't ever go read the forums at my home site, we're a bunch of foul-mouthed drunken race fans with a tasteless sense of humor. My fragile image here would be ruined... (I think I'm the only one who spells properly over there). Nice guys at heart, but terrible at first impressions!

I dunno why but after viewing the link I started quoting Ricky Bobby in my head =)

Nothing too crazy that I saw! But then again, the forum access is denied =P
