Sisters of Death
This is kind of an odd one for me. The riffs are definitely good and I found myself chuckling throughout. What is odd is while it's low budget as hell, is slow after the characters are introduced until the killings start, and has incredibly stupid moments with the bad guy's plan, I didn't find it ridiculously awful. It's certainly not good, but there was nothing blindingly terrible about it that made it a dumpster fire. Contrast this with the aforementioned Rock N Roll Nightmare or something like The Dark Power, and I can honestly say it's simply not well done, as opposed to being terrible.
It's worth a watch. Like I said they made up enjoyable riffs despite nothing horribly over the top to latch on to. Also 0f note, while some bits are blanked out on the tv service, there is no actual nudity. The vent scene you only get some sideboob from behind. The shower glass is so glazed nothing is able to be made out. I guess they were playing it safe, but it really was uneccsary. RNR Nightmare, yeah, tons of it that had to be blacked out. Imagine a gorilla gram every two minutes or so.
Alien Outlaw
The other half of the Lash Leroux duology. This was incredibly great. Low budget and tons of ridiculousness to grab on to. Practically every scene is awful in some way. And the guys work some glorious magic on our quick draw heroine and aliens. Oh yes, Jessie Jamison in her show outfit looks great in it. Those legs, yowsa, as our friend Lash might have said. This one is worth owning without a doubt.
Come to think of it, Jessie might have been the most attractive protagonist they've had outside of Stuart Whitman and Treasure of the Amazon.
