I am really tempted to try Elite: Dangerous.

Endless Legend and all of its DLC, including the new Shadows DLC, is 66% off on Steam. If you're into 4X games at all (a la Civilization V), this is very much worth getting. Much better than Civ: Beyond Earth.

Also, Distant Worlds: Universe is 50% off (which is still $30). DW:U is the most ludicrously complicated space 4X game ever made, hands down. Puts GalCiv 3 to shame. However, be warned, it is very hard to get into.

Give it a try. I sincerely doubt you'll get a better deal for a while. The performance scales really well too if you don't have the best system.

Probably not worth it if you don't have a controller. At launch game was borderline unplayable with a KB&M.

One, Jade Empire is a freebie on Origin now. JE is Bioware's "other" RPG, their martial arts/ pseudo Orient game. It is quite good especially for free.

Being a Pokemon hipster sucks, because when I see something that I want to use, I have to compare it to the popular mons that fill the same role, or try to come up for a role it can fill that can't be filled by another Pokemon. Right now I'm trying to justify Mega Medicham to myself, but Mega Gallade is just BETTER. The only thing Medicham-M has is a better ability. It's my Mismagius v Gengar debate all over again.

Good luck with it. I sunk about 5 hours into it and then when I went to play it again there was no saved data. It was free so I cant complain but still a big waste of time.

My experience with the Epic Games Launcher so far has mostly been bad. I'm mostly sure they're giving this game away for free just to get people into their game launcher and store. It's just what we need on the PC, more Uplays and Origens.

Giants: Citizen Kabuto is free at GOG for the next 31 hours.

I've never played it let alone heard of it so I can't speak to it's quality. I know it's old (2000) and really highly reviewed.

Not a bad little game. Not as much fun as any of the 2D worms, but it can be fun if you get the right people together.
