Some of my favorite games are on sale on Steam for  an indeterminate amount of time.

(One of my favorite games of all time) Killing Floor $4.99 (Complete pack with tons of content $12.99) and a tripwire bundle consisting of everything they've done (priceless in my mind) for like $24
Payday and Payday 2 with all DLC for cheap

Marvel Heroes players? You get a free hero.

No, really.

Go to Marvelheroes.com, log in, look at your profile and redeem this code: MHMGIFT

You'll get one of the starting heroes for free, to go with your other heroes.

Marvel Heroes, BTW, is a Diablo-esque action RPG set in the Marvel universe. And Squirrel Girl is in it. (And voiced by Tara Strong.)

(Hey! Not dead! Should be back soon!)

I never finished Tomb Raider, although I have no idea why not. It was EXTREMELY fun.

Still not back yet, but close.

Got an Origin account? You get a free copy of Dead Space.

No catch.  Go here: https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/on-the-house-ANW.html

And remember, you'll have the EA money back guarantee with this so if you don't like it, you can get all of your money back.

Dead Space is free right now on Origin, you don't even have to download it, you can just claim it and it will be in your library to download whenever you want. It explicitly said it won't be up for very long so do it now if you want the game.

Ring Runner.

I only found out about this game today, and the sale ends tomorrow. It's $2.50 on Steam. If you liked Star Control 2 (also known by it's freeware title "The Ur-Quan Masters"), you'll like this. It's pretty kick ass, but it also has a sense of humor.

Also Retro City Rampage is on sale for $1

BTW, I suggest subscribing to Total Biscuit on Youtube. He's a bit long winded, but he does regular posts about good games that are on sale on Steam. That's how I found out about Ring Runner.

Me too, it was one of those rare occasions I just bought it and didn't look it up because I had the money in my Stem wallet from trading cards and such. I actually listen to Total Biscuit a lot, I do think he can be long winded and sometimes just boring, but what I like about him is that he is zero b.s. He tells you his absolute honest opinion with little regard for anything else and that is rare in video games coverage.

I would subscribe to him, but he puts up too many videos.  If it was just the WTF videos, then absolutely.

I'm in the camp that finds Total Biscuit extremely grating and annoying. I think his points are ok, but the way he presents them...
