Steam sale alert!  Not exactly a surprise but the Fall Steam sale just began, so go get them deals.  Nothing too exciting for me thus far, which is good as I don't have much to spend.

Thinking about picking up Skyrim for 7.49 or maybe going for the "Legendary Edition" for 20.  I have Skyrim on PS3 but I want it for PC and I never got the DLC.

Does the Legendary Edition have ALL the DLC?

Also doesn't it kind of piss you off when they put the new Assassins Creed and COD on the sale page with no discount.

Yeah, the Legendary Edition has all the DLC.  I went ahead and picked that up.

I don't see COD or AC on the sale page.  I just have the 13 daily deals and flash deals, followed by a list of of other discounted games that you can sort by price or new releases.

Question - If you buy the Legendary Edition, but already own the base Skyrim, will it import your save?

I would think so but I don't know for sure.  It doesn't say "Legendary Edition" in my Steam library, so it seems like it's just the base game with the DLC added, rather than a separate thing.

Gone Home is on a flash sale for it's lowest price ever at 4.99.  If you've been holding off for a good sale, now's the time.  I absolutely loved this game and it's a steal for $5.  Sale lasts until 5 AM Eastern.

Finally I have money when a game I really want comes up for sale.  ;D

Got the Legendary Skyrim deal. I have the game for Xbox 360 already, but never got any of the DLC except for Hearthfire. So now I've got two big DLCs to play through and a whole lot of mods to try out. After quite a bit of downloading, anyway.

Are you on Steam, Jedi? If you have a bunch of friends with lots of games, you can trade with them.

Once I found out Skyrim had a god mode I couldn't resist that Steam sale.  I like the exploring and character stuff in these games but can't stand the battle parts, so if it doesn't have a god mode I lose interest real fast...

After the first few hours, Skyrim is so easy you don't even need God Mode.  However, cheating can get you an unlimited inventory which is pretty neat.

I did notice after forgetting to turn on god mode a few times (after a reload) that I wasn't getting hurt as much as I expected.  But it's still nice to be able to ignore attacks and take it easy fighting back, and also be able fall off high places...  I have thought about using the codes to up my gold so I can buy a house.

Just jumped on Bioshock Infinite for $20 via the Steam sale... Mainly because I didn't want my family to get it for x-mas on a console. Can't stand using the damn controller for FPS... it's like masturbating with both hands tied behind your back, sure you can do it... but it isn't nearly as enjoyable.

I made the mistake of clicking the HD texture DLC for Skyrim, so now I have to wait for another 4GB download before I can play it. The kicker is that I probably won't even be able to use them since I usually have to run everything at 720p to get any kind of performance on my PC.

Batman Arkham Origins is $20 at Amazon right now for the PC version.  Yes, it activates on Steam.
