What's that humble weekly sale? You want me to buy all the Daedalic Entertainment point and click adventures I've been meaning to pick up anyway for $6? If you insist...

Well, this isn't a tremendous deal, but some folks might bite...

Best Buy, who recently changed their gamer's club program, are providing the following "Epic Gaming" bundles for the new consoles, each bundle at $800.

You get:
A next Gen console (PS4 or XB1)
An extra controller
Any two new games for either system
Two years of PSN or XBL
The new Gamer's Club unlocked membership (Short version- 20% off any new game purchase)
A 2 Year Geek Squad Protection program for the console.

Now, you're probably saying "Wow. That's kinda lame." Well, there's one more detail. According to internal BB memos, the folks who are interested in the bundle and who didn't pre-order, they get to jump to the front of the "didn't pre-order" line. So you'll have the best shot at getting one of the consoles.

Okay, GOG is running a promo right now. 101 games on sale at about 75% off each. The catch? They're tossing them on the front page. When they sell 300 copies, they move onto the next one. So, good luck.

Oh, and PS4 fans? Some Targets have Knack priced at $40. If you're buying it as part of the B2G1 deal, might want to skip it, but if you're buying it solo, well, you save $20. On the downside. well, it's Knack.

There's not much to-do about it (Just a tiny sign near the Drive-Through), but if you eat at McDonalds, you get a code that you can enter at dpgamer.com and get $10 off any EA game $29.99 or more. They put the code on the back of your reciept and it looks like those ads on the back of every reciept that everyone always ignores. There may be other restrictions on what you can use it on. I haven't redeemed mine yet, but the big print indicates that anything over $29.99 is fair game.

If McDonald's gave me a Big Mac and $29.99, I might pick up an EA game.

I don't like EA and I despise Origin but I do like Mass Effect and Dragon Age. I was one of the losers that bought Sim City at launch and got pretty shafted. I love the game though and I got Battlefield 3 for free as a sorry present.

I completely agree on Mass Effect (1 & 2) and Dragon Age. Luckily, I saw Sim City coming as it was and avoided it.

I don't like EA: The Megacorporation, but I can't deny that EA knows which titles to support. Boycotting them would mean boycotting Bioware's awesome games (I LIKED Mass Effect 3, and I'm still loving Old Republic) and every game with "Sim" in the title, and I just couldn't do that. Even my li'l Android phone is monopolized by The Simpsons: Tapped Out these days. And I'll take EA's Simcity over the complete lack of Simcity that came out for the 9 years before it...

So I went ahead and used my McDonalds discount on the Cities of the Future expansion and I'm enjoying it, so far. It shouldn't be $30, but $20 is about the right price.

Yeah, Sim City is disappointing if you view it as Sim City. If you view it as Bob's City Builder, it's okay.

Oh, and Skullgirls is only $9.99 over on the Humble Store right now: https://www.humblebundle.com/store

It'll be at that prices for about another 12 hours.

Big Vita sale at Best Buy prior to T-Day, on games, memory cards and Vita units themselves.

And if you bought Need for Speed Rivals when it came out on Tuesday, surprise! PC version for $30 and 360/PS3 for $39.99 at Best Buy. A $20 drop less than a week after release. (I bought a next gen version so I'm out of luck.)
