If you own Sid Meyer's Alpha Centauri, Wing Commander 1+2 and/or Wing Commander: Privateer on gog.com, you now also own all the expansion packs for those games. You can claim it on your download page.

If you don't own them, they're $3 a piece right now. Not a bad time to take the plunge. :^)

Well, they discounted Farcry 3 on Steam like I asked. Now it's 25% off at $37.49.

Grab it or wait for a better discount?

For a game that was released less than a month ago, I think that's as good as it's going to get.

Those special sales, when they're highlighted like that, aren't going to get better over the course of the sale.

Sometimes they'll get a seperate flash sale that's a little bit better, but not the new stuff.

I meant it more like "Should I wait until later this year?" in some future sale. Not the one going on now.

But yeah...I bought it. ::)

Hey, did you buy a download from Amazon during their winter sale and thus get a $5 download discount  for their editor's choice games? They were giving them out like candy with downloads.

Well anyway, Hotline Miami is $4.99 right now. And it's an editor's choice.  So, it'd be free...

Last days of the Steam sale and it's encore time. Did you see a low price on a game? It's probably that low again. And for unexplained reasons, Sleeping dogs is 91% off right now, making it about 4 bucks and change.  It's worth the price.

Apparently that was a mistake that got fixed while I was in the process of checking out. Up to $17 now. Guess I'm not getting it now.

I bought Mark of the Ninja, Bejeweled 3 and Football Manager 2013.  All three are awesome.

Let's see, I ended up getting:

Mirror's Edge (haven't really tried this yet)
Batman Arkham Asylum (nor this)
The Darksiders series
Endless Space
Both Portal games
Half Minute Hero
World of Goo
Gish
The Basement Collection
Super Street Fighter 4 (playing this on an X-Box pad sucks)
The Walking Dead season 1

And just yesterday, Civilization V: GotY Edition. Can you believe I've never played a Civilization game? I loved Master of Magic and the first two Master of Orion games.

I just bought Mark of the Ninja a month ago, so naturally it went on sale  :P Great game though.

Indie Royale is having a best-of bundle with Nuclear Dawn, Defense Grid: The Awakening, Gemini Rue, Soulcaster, and Soulcaster II. What's really awesome about this one is that a donation of $8 or more also nets you the 8-bit Weapon collection, which is a complete collection of all the music 8-Bit Weapon (My favorite Chiptunes band) has composed. That's normally $20 right there.

This will only last a few more hours. (1700 GMT) And yes, it activates on Steam.
