Are you ready to rock?

 I said are you re...

Oh, you are. Sorry. The acoustics in here are awful.

For the month of July, selected Guitar Hero and DJ hero DLC is half off.
DJ Hero – Dance Party Mix Pack – 320 MS Points
DJ Hero 2 – Ultra Mix Pack – 320 MS Points
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock – Velvet Revolver Pack – 250 MS Points
Guitar Hero World Tour – Travis Barker Track Pack – 220 MS Points
Guitar Hero 5 – The Rolling Stones Live Pack – 360 MS Points
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock – My Chemical Romance Track Pack – 300 MS Points

Yeah, yeah. It's for the GH brand, but DJ Hero was pretty unique and some folks liked GH over RB, so here you go.

A heads up-

Next week (July 8-14) Best Buy is having a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale on all video games $29.99 and up.

And if this overlaps with the Steam sale... ouch.

ARMA II is $16. Guess it's time to try out that Day Z mod.

Edit: Crap, you need the Combined Operations, which is $24. Wish I'd known that before buying one and not the other.

First day - I bought some old adventure games that had been languishing in my wishlist, along with Crusader Kings II and some of its DLC.  First day!

The rumoured indie bundles all look pretty neat too.

I picked up Dungeon Defenders. It was cheaper yesterday, but I still wanted it, especially after some friends picked it up.

I hope you fools voted for Arkham City. I want it's DLC to be cheaper.

Fixed that for you.

And unless there's a surge in the next 12 minutes, SR3 is ahead by 4% of the vote, so it looks like Steelport wins over Gotham.

And, BTW, it looks like on the "vote for the next deal" thing, the sale prices are only good for the 8 hours after the vote ends, so keep that in mind too.

(And meh, the SR3 DLC is only 33% off. I suspect the Arkham DLC wouldn't have been at the 60% off price either. )

Terraria has stared at me with it's pretty retro graphics for too long! It's mine now!

What I'm really hoping for is for a significant savings on Anno 2070. I love the Anno series to death, and the future setting sounds extra cool to me, but it hasn't gone on sale or dropped in price even a little since it came out back in December. 30% is OK, but I sense a significant savings will arise during this sale. I'm biding my time for now...

It's been 50% off once or twice since it came out. I remember putting it in my cart and staring for a long time before not buying it.

So, Pak, we're going to have to play that wonderful, wonderful game together. So much more fun with multiple people.

I am considering getting into the Walking Dead episodes.
Anyone play this? Would you recommend it?

I haven't played it, but I've heard very good things.  If you're intending to play it on the PC, I'd wait during the Summer Sale until it's a daily deal - the price cuts are the largest then.

Tyrant and I are playing together. I'm a huge Telltale fan, and I have to say it's some of Telltale's best writing.

It's not extremely puzzly. It's more about making tough decisions, and those decisions have major ramifications that directly affect what happens and how people react to you. Those decisions carry through to future episodes, too.  Like Mass Effect, but adventurey. I give it my endorsement. :^)
