Far too lazy to look through the thread, but Humble Bundles have probably been mentioned, and they're a GREAT source for games. Not only do you get to name your price for 5 games, but you donate to charity as well. You can choose how your money is divided up between the charity and the developers, too. Periodically, they have REALLY good games in it. I got Trine in one a while back, but I lost it when I updated my computers, and even though you can redownload all of them, I lost access to the email account without realizing it. DAMN YOU, K-STATE!

Okay, a new deal with a blast to the past.

Remember in years past when you'd walk into a store and see an offer like "get this computer/TV/Box of miniwheats for $200 off" with the caveat that you has to sign up for something for 2 years or so? Well, Microsoft is trying that again in their Microsoft Stores.



So, $99 for a Kinect, a 360 arcade and 2 years of live @ $15 a month.  (Shrug) Up to you whether or not it's a good deal for you. (I paid $2 for my last month of Gold so YMMV.)

Since They keep throwing 2 months for $2 at me, I think $15/month is a horrible deal. Not to mention, a 4GB HDD is useless to someone like me who installs games while I play them and downloads DLC and Arcade games. But for a casual gamer who doesn't want to shell out $300 - $400 out-of-pocket . . . no worse than doing rent-to-own.

You can always buy a hard drive. I just have no excuse for buying a console, as far as I can see. I'm not interested in paying to play games online, and I don't really have the friends to do multiplayer games in house. There are some games that are console exclusive that I really would like to play, but I dunno. I had an Xbox 360 a while back, but all I had was FFXIII, which I really enjoyed. The problem is that Steam exists.

Please read this review I wrote on Amazon before buying.  It has nothing to do with the ending or story and I know that I got the PC version but the people I have talked to who got the 360 and PS3 version have reported the same problems.  It is the most glitch filled game I have played in this console generation and even if the story was perfect I would have trouble giving it a good review.  What is more after two months none of these things have been patched.  Please take my advice and wait to find it for $10-$20 somewhere or for Bioware and EA to fix some of the stuff that is wrong with it before buying.  Believe me unfixed it is not worth more then $10-$20 and again this has nothing to do with the ending.

Please note that my system exceeds all the requirements for this game and yet here is a list of all the glitches I have encountered while playing it and yet after a month not one of these problems have been patched by Bioware or EA and neither company has given any indication that they plan to fix these problems.

Bioware is lying every time they say you can get all Single player endings with out playing Multiplayer. Everyone has run the numbers and even with importing a save from the last two games that has all side quests and DLC completed there is no way to get the 5000+ EMS points needed to get the fourth and final ending with out playing massive amounts of multiplayer.

Character import does not import your face from the last two games. That is right a basic feature that ME2 had no trouble with does not work at all.

area map refuses to come up at times.

Mission objectives will just go away and missions will just end at random.

Sound just cuts off at random and the only way I found to get it back is to shut down the game and restart my computer.

Game randomly shuts down in the middle of play.

Characters will vanish while I am in the middle of talking to them.

Some times the game will present me with a dialog choice only to choose one it's self before I had a chance to click on it.

Nav points will some times send you the wrong way for a mission objective.

A few times I encountered enemies that could not be killed and I had to restart the mission to kill them.

Sometimes my custom Shepard would revert to having the default face in cut scenes.

Origin locks me out of the game at random by refusing to launch it.

Three or four times the save game feature did not remember where I had last saved and I had to replay whole sections of the game.

Shepard sometime ends up walking in place mid air.

A couple of times cut scenes just froze and I had to restart the game.

The game doesn't remember all of your choices from the last two correctly.

In the Legion mission some of the blocks you have to shoot will be out or range of your gun and you have to restart the mission for them to be in range.

Origin will not let me unistall this glitch filled mess with out downloading a massive update first.

As I said my computer exceeds all of the recommended system requirements and yet all these things happened and after a month of myself and others reporting them to Bioware and EA not one of them has been fixed and Bioware has given no indication that they will be.

This is the most glitch filled game I have encountered in a long time,and the last time I saw this many glitches in a game it came out of the $10 bin. I find it hard to believe this game was tested in any way before it was released. There is no excuse for a major tittle from a major developer and publisher that comes out with an $80 price point to have so much broken in it. This game is just an unfinished mess and should have been delayed a few months for testing.

As much as pains me to say this as a long time Bioware fan this game is not worth the money. If you want to play it wait a few months and you will find it massively marked down. Remember because of Origin the PC version can't be returned or resold so there is no way to get your money back once you pay for it. I wish I had known what a mess this game would be before I spend $80 on it. I think burning my $80 would have been a more productive use of the money.

In short wait for this game to be marked down. Who know maybe by next year Bioware will have patched some of the glitches.

Just take that into a count before buying.  You have no idea how painful that review was to write.
