If anyone's been waiting to purchase Civilization V, you can do it now on Steam for $7.50. All the DLC is on sale too, so if you've been waiting on that, there you go. :^)

Okay, Mass Effect 3 is on sale at the Microsoft store for $39.99. Free shipping too.

http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/html/pbPage.MassEffect3

The price will go down when you add it to the car. And yes, for some reason this is only for the 360 version. Go fig.

(Not posting this to the ME3 thread since I got side tracked and still haven't finished the game up yet. I gather though there's an issue with how it ends...)

For the next 80 hours, Indie Royale is selling a Ninjabee Bundle.

http://www.indieroyale.com

Typical Indie Royale bundle stuff. Name your price, only the lowest possible price is determined by how many people bid over the minimum.

Ninjabee happens to be one of my favorite indie developers. Outpost Kaloki and Kingdom for Keflings are worth the $3+ alone. Then you also get Band of Bugs, Cloning Clyde and Ancients of Ooga. I've never tried those. They probably rock too...

Wow.

In addition to just adding Assassin's Creed and Homm V to the catalog, GoG just added a free game to your account.

Fallout.

Go! Add it to your account before they end the promotion.

Got it. Bought Fallout 2 a while back, but just couldn't get into it. Maybe this one will be better. Or maybe Fallout 3 just ruined me.

Far too lazy to look through the thread, but Humble Bundles have probably been mentioned, and they're a GREAT source for games. Not only do you get to name your price for 5 games, but you donate to charity as well. You can choose how your money is divided up between the charity and the developers, too. Periodically, they have REALLY good games in it. I got Trine in one a while back, but I lost it when I updated my computers, and even though you can redownload all of them, I lost access to the email account without realizing it. DAMN YOU, K-STATE!

I'm not sure if anyone will care but tomorrow (April 30) is the last chance to sign up for the 1 year subscription to World of Warcraft and gain the benefits of:
*A Free Flying Mount
*A Free Copy of Diablo III
*Entry into the Mists of Pandaria Beta
*12 Months of WoW-y Goodness

And free access to BC is included with all accounts too as well. (You pay month to month, not all at once. )

The latest Indie Royale bundle (The May Hurray! Bundle) is live and it comes with:

*Dungeon Defenders
*Containment: The Zombie Puzzler
*Data Jammers
*Brainpipe
*Strange Adventures in Infinite Space

And at a $7.00 donation, you get some chiptune albums as well.

Dungeon Defenders is great (although frequently on sale elsewhere) and I enjoyed Containment and SAIS as well. All come with a Desura key and all but the last title have Steam Keys too.

Okay, a new deal with a blast to the past.

Remember in years past when you'd walk into a store and see an offer like "get this computer/TV/Box of miniwheats for $200 off" with the caveat that you has to sign up for something for 2 years or so? Well, Microsoft is trying that again in their Microsoft Stores.

So, $99 for a Kinect, a 360 arcade and 2 years of live @ $15 a month.  (Shrug) Up to you whether or not it's a good deal for you. (I paid $2 for my last month of Gold so YMMV.)

Since They keep throwing 2 months for $2 at me, I think $15/month is a horrible deal. Not to mention, a 4GB HDD is useless to someone like me who installs games while I play them and downloads DLC and Arcade games. But for a casual gamer who doesn't want to shell out $300 - $400 out-of-pocket . . . no worse than doing rent-to-own.

You can always buy a hard drive. I just have no excuse for buying a console, as far as I can see. I'm not interested in paying to play games online, and I don't really have the friends to do multiplayer games in house. There are some games that are console exclusive that I really would like to play, but I dunno. I had an Xbox 360 a while back, but all I had was FFXIII, which I really enjoyed. The problem is that Steam exists. :P

Wow, this ending stuff must really be hurting sales . . .

Please read this review I wrote on Amazon before buying.  It has nothing to do with the ending or story and I know that I got the PC version but the people I have talked to who got the 360 and PS3 version have reported the same problems.  It is the most glitch filled game I have played in this console generation and even if the story was perfect I would have trouble giving it a good review.  What is more after two months none of these things have been patched.  Please take my advice and wait to find it for $10-$20 somewhere or for Bioware and EA to fix some of the stuff that is wrong with it before buying.  Believe me unfixed it is not worth more then $10-$20 and again this has nothing to do with the ending.

http://www.amazon.com/review/R29UZ9447XVR6B/ref=cm_aya_cmt?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B004FYKWZU#wasThisHelpful  Also it seems to be down to $31 on Amazon.

Oh and for those of you who don't want to go to Amazon here is my review in the spoilers.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Just take that into a count before buying.  You have no idea how painful that review was to write.
Fave Rifftrax:The Room Fave MST3K:Manos
Fave DW story of last year:TAP/TRF.  Fave classic series story:Inferno
Fave film of 2011:Tie The Muppets/Tintin
Fave iRiff group:One wall cinema
Fave movie:Citizen Kane.
Still stuck on dial up.
