Okay, got a hankering to play that new MMORPG, Rift? There's a free play weekend this weekend.

Quote
RIFT is holding a special Allies of the Ascended event. As my chosen ally, you can use this code to join me during the dates below, free of charge! Heed my call, and together we shall battle the Blood Storm!

Event Dates
10am PDT April 8, 2011 through 10am PDT April 11, 2011

Visit www.RIFTgame.com/en/ally instructions on how to apply your Ally Code and to download the RIFT patcher.

Yes we shall battle the Blood Storm!  Ahem. Anyway, for those who want to try it out, shoot me a PM, and I'll send a code.

We should probably have a Rifftrax MMORPG thread too at some point, for those of us addicts who play them.

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/109015-Buy-Dragon-Age-2-Get-Mass-Effect-2-Free-UPDATED

I just got the email and received my free copy of ME2 and it seems anyone can recieve it if you buy DA2 before the end of April.  At first I thought it was a scam or hoax but I am downloading ME2 right now with EA Download Manager.

Yeah, I'm in the middle of downloading it, too. And at 11.6 GB, it's going to take forever with my economy DSL.

1) Trine
2) Shadowgrounds
3) Shadowgrounds - Survivor
4) Jack Claw (unfinished game)

I love Humble Bundles. I never know what indie games to get, but when they come in a nice package I eat them up and chew on them for days. :^) Already made my donation.

It's another Video Game Gold Box day at Amazon, and just to mock my current inability to spend the money on it (I assume) Starcraft 2 is a mere $39.99 all day.

I was looking at the first one, since it's only $11. I think I'll pass though.

Of course this led me to Amazon, where I found out that Bioshock 2 is only $10. I don't even think it's a special deal, I think it's just a $10 game now. How does that happen? I mean, it's cheaper than the original. Hell, it's cheaper than poorly reviewed games that came out when the PS3 was first out.

Okay, some news-  Portal 2 will be $40 at Gamestop next week (4/30- 5/6) for both the 360 and PS3 versions.

Or head to K-Mart. They'll be offering it for $34.99 on the 1st through the 7th.

Yeah, I fell for that.  It's $10 because that's what it's worth.  Not a very good game.  But I am glad I only paid $10 for it.
