Amazon's Deals of the Day

Bioshock 2 Collector's Edition -$40 (360) $50 (PS3)
NBA 2k10 Anniversary Edition - $30 (360) $50 (PS3)

Very nice prices, especially for Bioshock.

And edited as some just went out of stock.

Okay, Gamestop is doing their "Power Hour " thing again, where titles go on sale online for one hour and one hour only.

Quote
This week, you get to pick which Power Hour Deal we'll be offering on Friday! Vote on one of the three possible hour-long online-only deals below by participating in the poll. We'll announce the results tomorrow and the deal will go live Friday morning at 11am CT (no typos this time :-x ).

1:UFC 2010 ($23.99 - 360/PS3)
2:Red Dead Redemption ($23.99 - 360/PS3)
3:Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver ($15.99 each - DS)

This begins in roughly 15 minutes, and all signs point to RDR being the sale title. And for those who haven't played it, $24 is a very good price for it.

Ubisoft is having a huge sale on a bunch of their direct downloads.

http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubina/html/pbPage.SUMMER_LOL_SALE

Some of the deals are good, some are barely deals at all. I Just picked up Dawn of Discovery:Gold (Which includes the Venice expansion) for $10.

It's a Video Game Gold Box day at Amazon.com. If you haven't already, you can snag a copy of Transformers: War for Cybertron for Xbox or PS3 for just $43, with a bunch of other deals (Singularity right now) coming and going every couple hours.

And the next one says "Go West, Young Man". Could that possibly Red Dead Redemption? If so, I may have to get that.
EDIT: And there it is.....for XBox only

The last one looks like Assassins Creed 2. Might want that as well.

Telltale has teamed up with a couple other companies to release The Great Adventure Bundle.

$20 gets you The Whispered World, Jack Keane, The Kings Quest Collection, both (I think) Penny Arcade games, and if they sell enough bundles, they'll toss in Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent and Sam and Max season 2. All proceeds go to a charity of your choice (Out of 5 available charities), and it's tax-deductable.

$20 for Whispered World is worth it on its own. I've been waiting for that to come down from $30.

I'm bumping this because, hey, point and click games for charity. go. Buy them. I've been eating soup made from fast food ketchup packets and even I can scrounge up enough for these.

Alan Wake Collector's Edition $39.99 at Amazon.

I was very pleasantly surprised by Alan Wake. It had a great story and good gameplay. And the Limited Edition was pretty spiffy as well, with a disc of commentary, a nice book and the soundtrack, which frankly rocked.

And BTW: Telltale extended their charity sale by one week. http://www.telltalegames.com/adventurebundle
Seriously! Go buy it!
