Gamestop has Guitar Hero World Tour Band Kit for $90
I don't even play those kinds of games and I was thinking of picking it up.

Seems like a lot of stores are purging their stock of GH & RB right now...totally flooding the market with these things.  The next installments of these franchises aren't going to sell well at all.  (the instruments at least, RB: Beatles and GH5 game discs will probably still sell well.)

Agree. Everybody has instruments, no more need for the kits (which were always overpriced anyways).

Looking very forward to the first 2. Don't know much about the other three, but last year's Summer of Arcade batted 1000, here's hoping this one will too. :^)

Shadow Complex looked fun.  Sort of like a cross betwee Contra and Metroid.  Done by the Gears of War people.

Same here. Ive been itching to play a revamped TMNT arcade game. And capcom vs marvel was my 3-4th favorite fighter game. Note that I have awards in my top 2 fighters (Stree Fighter 2 Turbo, Mortal Kombat 1)

Battlefield 1943. It's either $15 on PSN or 1200 Microsoft points on XBL. It's an amazing little game, so definately check it out.

GameStop has the Buy 2 get 1 Free this weekend. Combinable with Edge Card, code Saver for free shipping, etcetera, etcetera.

Not sure what I'm gonna grab just yet... it is worth noting that Super Mario Galaxy is only 25 dollars (used) for those that don't have it.

You've gotta be kidding me. We just bought that damn game and it was still $45. What a rip. We used a $25 gift card and a 20% coupon that came in their email ad (I recommend getting on that list for those coupons, btw), but still . . .

Well if it makes you feel any better it was only a temporary sale price... back up to 39.99.

B2G1 sale is live now.

Gamestop/EB Games has a bundle of Bioshock and Oblivion for $30 on the 360. I don't own either (played a little of Oblivion) so I thought I'd pick them up.

All of Paradox Interactive's back catalog is available half-off this week on Steam and all those other Steamy-type services. A lot of nifty table-top-esque strategy games to pick from, and some cool looking RPGish games too. I'm trying to pick between King's Bounty and Mount & Blade.

Did you ever play any of the Penumbra games Pak-Man? I haven't gotten around to them yet with the exception of playing a bit of the beginning of one.

I picked up the trilogy when that was on sale for $5. I've played about as much as you. I dinked around a snowy maze for about a half hour and put it back on the shelf. Reading some reviews, I might not have given it enough of a fair chance..

Go with King's Bounty. I just couldn't get into to Mount & Blade.
