Little Big Planet (PS3) $27.89 shipped at GoGamer I was thinking about getting my brother this game, any good?

It's fantastic, and for that price, a no brainer.
I just found out from him that he has it. Damn it, any other suggestions for a ps3 game for him? Sorry to derail the topic.
Based on what I own:
Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction- highly recommended for anyone with even the slightest interest in "platformers".
Resistance 1 or 2- my personal favorite shooters. R1 is a greatest hit, so if you're looking for cheap, I'd say go with this, assuming your brother isn't too young for that type of game
The Orange Box- despite all those reviews saying it is completely unplayable, and owning it on PC as well, I don't think the port is really that bad. It has to load a lot (and I mean A LOT), but they usually only take a few seconds. Recommended only if he doesn't own it on PC/XBox
Uncharted- came with system, still haven't played it. Hear great things though

I guess that's all the help I can offer, besides just suggesting gift cards for Playstation Network games

I ended up getting him a copy of Saint's Row 2 for the PS3 and myself a collector's edition copy for the 360 both for $20 a pop at Fred Meyer. I recommend to anyone wanting to get this game that has a Fred Meyer nearby go there quickly and snatch up a copy for $20 before this deal ends.

Speaking of bargains: Anyone know where to get a decent copy of Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines for a good price?  I just found out about this game and that there's a haunted house segment in it that's supposed to be really cool.  Unfortunately, copies on eBay look like they are Thai knock-off copies, and the ones selling on Amazon range to about 120 bucks for used.

Missed out on Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth this way, too.  Saw it in Best Buy for the PC and wanted to get it then, but missed out.  The copy I have now isn't a bootleg, but it's a European import, since you simply can't get a US version anymore unless you have an XBox.
One Man Band Riffs.  18 riffs, over 600 served, since 2009.

Vampire is pretty awesome.  Had a lot of bugs, IIRC.  From Steam, you shouldn't have any problems with it though.

Haunted House was creepy, too.

Well, I was about to suggest Amazon, but it's ranging from $60 to $120 there as well. Ow.

If you don't mind not having a physical copy, probably your best bet will be to keep checking the pay download sites: www.gog.com, direct2drive W(hich has it)  steam (which has it too.), gamestop (Has it for download too), etc. Or check places like Office Depot or Sears who sometimes don't clear out their old stock very quickly.

And the haunted house area was indeed quite interesting. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go find my copy...

Forgot to say thanks for the link earlier.  Have to pick this one up soon, though; I'm holding off on too many buys this month until I get my iRiffs done.  Must...stop...procrastinating!

Amazon's doing sales for a bunch of 360 games today, which only will last until supplies are sold out or 2 hours pass. However their deal of the day:

The Collector's Edition of Fallout 3 for $47.99 With lunchbox, bobblehead and all.

Two quick deals:

Over on Steam, Freedom Force and Freedom Force vs. The 3rd Reich are just $6.74 for the pair. These are great, great games that never got the attention they deserved.

And over on the PSN, they've been adding some old downloadable PS 1 games to their store. This week,  they've added a little game called Final Fantasy VII for $9.99. Since it normally sells on ebay for, well, a lot,  if you need a copy to play on your PS3 or PSP, this is a good time to get it.
