Am I being too optimistic thinking this particular game will take off?

I think too many are actually watching the show to think about playing.

I've never watched it, so I wouldn't know....  ;D

...hahahaha!

Arbitrarily speaking, I think I'm one-of-four members from the forum who watches Idol. I agree w/ Joel McHale, what's the most important time of the year? American Idol-time!  :D

Last week, my friend kept calling and texting me during Tuesday's Idol and I was like "LEAVE ME ALONE. I will not fix your computer, I am watching Idol."

Then he called on Wednesday for the same thing, at the same time. I'm like "What part of leave me alone during idol do you not understand!!"  Of course, on Thursday he said, "Is that stupid show on every day of the week?!"

Poor guy.

I have a cross pollination plan that may or may not work.  I say that in order to get more attention to this game we start getting the good word on there on another event thread: the List of Crap 22.  That way, each thread can have more attention.  Sound good?

I'm not saying it will be Hitler, but I am implying it.

Thanks JU, but I'm sure it's the theme I chose that isn't generating any interest. I'm more than likely going to pass the Mafia baton to whomever is next in line, and I won't be able to see my voting system go into effect or the ABBA & Weezer theme weeks I had planned. Oh well...it would've been extremely entertaining...

No way, someone sign up. This will be way more fun than some of the themes we've had :)

Yoohoo is scheduled to host the game after yours.  I PMed him about this since he hasn't been around since February.  If we don't hear back from him soon then I guess I'm next in line.

Either way, it's a bummer you couldn't find 25 people to sign up.  I didn't sign up because I hate American Idol with a passion.  That, and I wanted to take a break from Mafia games for awhile.

I'd sign up for your game TeamRAD but I'm in the same boat as James in that I hate American Idol and wish for its demise.

If you really want to pass on this game then just say it and lock this thread.  I'm ready to start my game if necessary

I don't like the show and I'm playing.  Though to be fair I do like my characters appearance in a certain sitcom...
