Theme Songs
« on: April 15, 2009, 08:27:31 PM »
Basically, the game is to match a person or character (real or fictional) with a song (or musical piece), or vice versa.  So for example, maybe I could ask: What song should be the theme for or represent, oh, let's say, Stephen Colbert.  Well, you have choices.  His show has a theme song or you can go with the Apples in Stereo song "Stephen, Stephen" which was written for the show.  Still, you also might want to go for a song that represents/sums up the character perfectly.  Perhaps, John Ashcroft's "Let the Eagle Soar".  Feel free to post the song from YouTube or whereever, in case not many people know the song.

You can post a song and have people find a character to go with it or vice versa,  But first you must find a match before you look for your own.  You don't have to think to hard about it, but sometimes, you might want to go into detail to explain why the song represents that person.

Here are the songs mentioned, just for fun:

Got the idea?  Let's start off a bit easy:

What song or tune would be fitting for this character:

(and yes, you can choose the obvious one.  I just want to get us started off easily.)

Pretty sure it's Polish but I don't have Ann around to translate.

Ok how about finding a person for this

Listening to the tune, I realized it had to be someone crazy (even before the musical saw).  At first I thought of Two-Face for the contrasting sound styles, then I thought of the sound.  It's the feminine sound of a cutting instrument.  Then I thought of this.

For those of you who haven't heard of audition:

Speaking of crazy, what's a great theme for:

Max Keller from Master Ninja

Funny how few romantic ninjas there are.  It's pretty bad when he's the best you can do.

What about the theme for this guy, since we're on the subject of ninja.
