Anywho.. I've been on the Major Hunt for quite some time for all the Uncensored/Unedited episodes (Including All the Music Videos) and I may have FINALLY Found Them

I already placed my order and if they arrive in time for the weekend, I Plan a Beavis & Butthead 'Moronathon' to watch them All for confirmation of accuracy 8)

Be that as it may, I bet you'll find a lot of tracking lines from all the VHS sources they use to compile this collection. There's no way in hell they'd ever secure the rights to put the original music videos on any DVD set. It's just too difficult. But, hopefully it will be worth the expenditure and not too messy looking.

I was disappointed when I bought the Mike Judge collection, as a few of the episodes were edited. Thankfully, a quick trip to the local used DVD store got me the episodes I wanted. From the Time Life collection; two B&B collections previously available on VHS: "Innocence Lost" and "Chicks 'n' Stuff". A total of 17 episodes there, in their uncut glory, on one DVD.

I was very tempted to get the DVD box-sets a little while back, but my heart sank when I saw that they'd been cut.

Received the set of discs today and currently running them through DVDshrink to back them up..

Watching them through the 'Video Preview' window, they seem pretty complete to me (including Music Videos) :o

There's a total of 16 discs to watch so I'll start this evening after I close my business..
I've got a list of Music Videos as well to go by as a checklist :o

Well, I was able to get through Disc 7 as of midnight last night .. :speechless:

Each disc is avereging about 3 hours in length (including watching the various Bonus Features on each disc as well), and overall, the Quality is Very Good! :o
Some of the Mike Judge interviews (in the Bonus sections) are of fair to poor quality, but all the episodes Including Music Videos, are Great!

It'll take me some time to get through the remaining 9 DVDs (probably finishing by next weekend.. I hope) :scared:

I guess it's worth it to have a nearly complete anthology of the dynamic duo. I'm very tempted!

Beavis and Butt-Head to return?
« Reply #10 on: July 16, 2010, 10:23:27 AM »
Very interesting, indeed: http://www.toonzone.net/news/articles/34359/ny-post-confirms-new-beavis-and-butt-head-episodes-underway

Quote
The New York Post is quoting anonymous sources at MTV to confirm the rumored return of Beavis and Butt-head. They write, "The new series would keep Beavis and Butt-head in their perpetual high-school state, but it would be updated so that the pals -- who obsessively watch music videos on a battered TV set -- could lob their snarky comments at more current targets like Lady Gaga."

MTV officials and Mike Judge are not commenting at this time.

Considering The Goode Family, I'm not thrilled at this prospect, to be honest - but I guess we'll see what happens.

I don't mind B&B but at least this time around there are way better ways to record these shows now. I never really watched the old show for the plots. Usually just the riffing on the videos. Which of course due to the outlandish licensing costs you only get a handful of videos on the various releases.

I'm glad I have the 'King Turd' bootleg 16 disc collection which includes all the music videos..

I need to figure out how to record them straight to DVD but I can still go the old-school rout and record them on VHS then just capture them in Pinnacle Studio and edit out the commercials before burning them to DVD 8)

Woot. Thanks for the heads up on the King Turd. There is a post on USENET of that bootleg set in the Xvid format. I can play them on my PS3 or WDTV.
