What other Rankin and Bass cartoons would you like to see riffed. I remember seeing Johnny Appleseed when I was very young, and even at that tender age of 5, I dubbed the cartoon Johnny Applestink. Must have not gotten my Dannon Dunkaroos that day.

I'd love to see The Hobbit riffed.
And as a kid, I HATED Rudolph's Shiny New Year.
I just kept waiting for misfit toys or Yukon Cornelius to show up...
But they never did.

No, they did a stop motion Johnny Appleseed back in the late 60s I believe. I could be wrong.

I've just seen the unriffed version of Nestor on YouTube and good Lord, that was awful! If the other Rankin & Bass movies are as bad as that - and longer, it seems - I don't want any more of their films to be riffed. Yeuch!

Aw, I love those old stop motion specials. Personally I'd like to get the most out of my DVD purchase and get Rudolph's Shiny New Year and A Year Without A Santa Claus riffed. :^)

Wow, Rattrap, to think...
If you only waited 3 months,16 days more, it would have been the one year anniversary of the last post of this topic.
