Overcoming Fear audio issues

Tried both WMV and Mp4 on VLC media player on each Mike and co are awfully quiet, the audio on the short is too loud and I'm having difficultly picking up the riffs. Any plans to fix the mix on this and boost the riffers vocals?

Edit - It improves greatly at the point where the audio on the short disappears and comes back. It's just that first part,.

Actually the live riff was mixed that way too. I dunno. Maybe they were inspired by the Shy Guy short.
