These might disappear soon because Hasbro and Paramount have issuing cease and desist letters like crazy to any sites using the images.

All of those look like screenshots from a cutscene from a Sega Genesis game.

It didn't impress me all that much, but it is only a teaser. When is this movie coming out again?

I'm glad to see Christopher Eccleston in this. He'll be great.

You know, you got a point there . . .

Just like Transformers, we're talking about source material that itself was nothing but a 30-minute commercial for a line of toys. If they want to plumb the depths of said material to create a new line of toys that have little but the name to do with the original we knew, we shouldn't be all that surprised.

August.  Probably to get away from the better crappy summer movies.

All I have to say is PORK CHOP SANDWICHES!

...ok, maybe there's more to say...

I'm so with all of you - the all-black costumes ruines it, the Wayans brother ruins it, Destro sans mask ruins it... the plot and acting I'm sure will suck.
Why is it called "the rise of cobra" if the main villain is Destro?

I'm going to see it anyhoo though.  and I will weep for nostalgia.

The only thing I can think that would keep this from a complete waste of time would be if someone were to beat the everloving snot out of Duke.
Sadly, the newest comics are favoring Duke and the old cartoon followers.  Seems that anything from the original comic is out the window.

I think the movie would be awesome if Cobra fights the Joe team using the same tactics as in the 80s cartoon.  ;D

You mean shooting indiscriminately and hitting absolutely nothing other than a few vehicles?

Well, to be fair, none of the Transformers died until the (animated) Movie, either. I guess they figured guns and explosions were fine, but death was something little Tommy wouldn't understand.

So Tommy goes and plays GI Joe with his dad's 9mm and blows a cap in poor little Fluffy's ass.

Er, one of the Transformers does die in the (animated)movie, though I prefer his death scene in the Robot Chicken PSA about PSAs.

More than one in fact

I like that Eccleston gets some face time without the mask as Destro.  They unmasked Destro in the comic's run, and then re-masked him, but he often went mask-less.
