Yay, I did some googling and found there is date math in the bash scripting language for Linux.  So I was able to write a script that picks out the last 7 days of time lapse movies and combines them, set it up to run every Saturday night just before midnight.

Not sure if I'll keep uploading them to YouTube or just wait until I make monthly ones and upload those.
I don't mind seeing them twice a month but then again a monthly review might make a better montage :o

So you're saying I'm gonna need a montage?

Got an inch and a quarter of rain in 2 hours this morning, some really impressive downpours.

The last few days we had a touch of Fall here..
Highs in the low 80s, lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.
Even left the back door open to let the cool air in at night 8)

But the heat returns today throughout the week :-[

Been a while since we've had some rain here.. It's been so hot & dry lately with temps in the low 90s all week that the plants and trees are starting to drop their leaves to conserve water, then Finally we get a pop-up shower here :o

Pop up rain here also, but nothing is really moving, watching the radar rain pops up, stays in the same spot, then fades away.   So there are flash flood warnings up because if a strong one pops up that area is getting poured on for a while.

Nasty thunderstorm just passing, should be showing up on the Thursday Night Football coverage soon.

Rain and wind so hard it was setting off my motion sensor lights.

We got an unexpected enormous amount of rain early this week that caused a lot of flooding. Never heard how much rain exactly, but kiddy pool I put out for the dogs went from 1/4 full to overflowing in 2 days of rain. Was hot and very humid for a couple of days afterward. Fortunately sump pump worked well and no water in the basement, backyard that was a pond until yesterday is now just muddy, humidity and temp have dropped to the point that I turned off the air and opened the windows this afternoon.
