We've got about two inches or more of snow rain mix, and supposed to be getting at least 6 more inches of snow tomorrow. So I'll be working from home.

Probably only 1/2 inch on the ground down here in Wallingford, tomorrow the worst of it is supposed to be along 95, Wilminton, Philly, Trenton.

Yeah, it's scenic, I could do without the scenery right now.  ;D

Guess I'll shovel what is there now while it can be pushed to the side, 2 or 3 easy passes will be better than 1 difficult job if I wait until it's over.

How many inches have you received so far and are you expecting more?

Just finished the driveway, luckily the sleet and freezing rain yesterday and last night turned to slush once there were a few inches of snow on top of it.  Funny how snow becomes an insulator and lets the heat from the ground melt what is underneath it.  And since it's March the sun was warming up the blacktop as soon as I cleared it so nothing new should collect until the sun goes down.  The car had a nice coat of ice on it, had to let it run for almost an hour to melt the ice so it would come off.

So far it's about 4 inches of heavy wet snow on top of 1/2 inch of sleet and ice from last night, they keep changing what to expect tonight with the wrap around tail end of the storm so who knows what it will be, forecasts range from 2 to 6 more inches.

Some reports of power outages, mostly along the coast in NJ, fingers crossed it doesn't go out here.

Hope you don't lose power there.
Pretty windy here today but that's died down a good bit and already the temperatures have dropped to 44 and dropping to 32 by morning :speechless:

Uggg....had about 8 inches of sleet and snow Friday night. Was heavy and wet and a huge pain to shovel. Another 12 inches Saturday night and it's sleeting hard now. Supposed to get another 12+ inches of snow/sleet today. April snow sucks. This is the only time of year I miss living down South.

Full on Spring time here in the Carolinas and we have a 10%-15% elevated chance of severe weather with possible tornadoes here this afternoon :o

After getting into the mid 80s yesterday it's back into the low 40s and rainy today.  Winter coats to shorts and back to winter coats....

So this is what the Charlotte Meteorologist is doing for the idiots here who can't figure out the difference between a Tornado Watch and a Tornado Warning...

There should be no confusion of a Watch vs a Warning with this example. A Watch the ingredients are there for something, A Warning it's there
::)

We're under a blizzard warning. Biggest snow storm of the season and our April snowfall before today had already more than doubled the previous record for April set in 1907.

But I sure don't miss tornadoes. Wife and I were staying in a hotel in Arkansas when we were first married and we slept through a tornado that hit a block away and wiped out the whole downtown. No sirens.

Storm line has passed. From 3-3:30pm it was a lot of wind and heavy rains with only a few small limbs broken out of the trees..
Tornado sirens were blaring 5 times for around 5 minutes each round :o
We got off light from this one.
