I'm glad I missed the 70s.

I'm glad you stopped the "trash Tennessee" talk.   :highfive:

I dont trash talk specific states, just general regions.  I was making fun of hillbillies and not the Tennesseetish population specifically.

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

You misunderstand. I was thanking you, because you changed the conversation. Besides, I don't really mind, it's comedy! :D

All I said was that Memphis was a shithole. This is an acknowledged truth.

The rest of stuff wasn't state-specific either. It's just about asshole conservatives, shitty food, and shitty music.

I wasn't referring to your post.  And I said, referring to the other posts, I don't really mind, it's just comedy.

I don't care what anyone thinks about Tennessee, or any city therein. I've lived all over this great country, and every city, state and region have their good points and bad points. It's the same here...good and bad.

Tennessee is my favorite place to live. We have clean water, clean air, nice people and great food. The weather is amazing.  Don't know about the rest of the area, but Memphis has been overwhelmingly liberal democratic for well over 30 years.

i like it here. if you or anyone else wants to make jokes about this or any other place, go right ahead. I don't take it personally...why should I? If your joke is funny, I'll laugh, and maybe click the like button.  If I reply, PLEASE assume I'm making a joke, because that will be the actual case, except in this case.

This is just a forum.  it's not an international debate, where one must win, while the others must lose.

it's supposed to be a place where MST/Rifftrax fans can hang out, chat, and have a little fun.  Fun is all I am interested in.  RVRII, Lembach, Sideswipe, Darth Geek, Uncle Desu and others make me smile and laugh.  That's why I am here.

You think TN has great weather? Where else have you lived?

I've never been to Memphis, so I have no experience with it. I just hear everyone say it's awful. My wife said it was pretty scary.

We'll have to agree to disagree about the food.

California (L.A., Mojave desert and San Fransisco) Mississippi (gulf coast), Montana, Oklahoma, Texas (north, central and southern) Arizona. Illinois and Germany.

I like the weather because it rains a lot, and storms a lot.  It's hot in the summer, and the winters are generally mild.

Well! Our first Winter blast is approaching us in the Charlotte area Halloween night into Saturday November 1 and there is a slight chance of snow flurries to 1 inch in Charlotte area which would be the earliest recorded snowfall since 1887 :o
Also this low pressure system is the remnant of Hurricane Ana that brushed Hawaii several days ago and could turn into a mean nor'easter early next week.

Of all the days there is to be rain, it seems like it's going to fall on Halloween.

California is in an awful drought, and still manages to find a way to make things wet at the wrong time. Go figure.

Walking around outside the dorm tonight I saw a few flurries. Made it feel like home. :)

Just got up and saw several of the locally abandoned cats in the fur-lined beds I put out for them during cold weather.  Gave them some breakfast and petted them.  Made me think of my mom, who passed away in 2001.  She was a sucker for animals in need.  Maybe I'm more like her than I thought.
