President Obama has declared South Carolina a disaster area.

He should have done that when you moved there.
:rimshot:
Actually it should have been done when that dipshit Mark Sanford became governor :-X

Nice sun today but a few more inches of snow tomorrow morning, then things are supposed to get warmer by the end of the week.

Just heard that we have had only 9 sunny days since the start of December, so no wonder this winter has seemed so dreary, it's not just the 13 storms so far, it's all the cloudy days...

Big time snowstorm last week, then a strong warm front passed over us from 2-4am bringing some thunderstorms with torrential rains, and then we tied a record high today of 76 degrees set back in 1939, yet we Still had snow remaining on the ground :o

2 sunny days in a row!  And on the weekend!

Pretty sure we haven't had that here since around new years.

And temperatures up around 60, out in the sun with only one layer on, really helps one's mood.

Made it to 71 here today and been watching the tornadic thunderstorms near Daytona delaying the Daytona 500 :o
NOTE: I really don't follow NASCAR much but the Daytona 500 is kind of entertaining at time 8)

Back to single digit temps at night, and now they are calling for maybe a foot of snow Sunday night to Monday afternoon.

Just have to quote Phil (Bill Murray) from Groundhog Day:

You want a prediction about the weather, you're asking the wrong Phil. I'll give you a winter prediction: It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey, and it's gonna last you for the rest of your life.

Slight chance of frozen precip in the morning (Saturday), then 70 degrees here on Sunday, and a chance for strong storms on Monday before it gets cold again.. ???

Joy. Probably another snow day for the kids meaning another day I can't work.

When I was a kid, my school district was the only one in St. Louis that NEVER had a snow day.  We would listen to AM radio in the morning when they announced the closed school (we did not have "internet" then) and ours NEVER got called.  My mom still jokes about it now.  Maybe that is why I am a good snow walker.........zombies are afraid of me.

Fuck YOU winter!  And the cold front you rode in on!

Pretty sure if we get that much it will make this the 2nd most snow of any winter since records have been kept.  We were only something like 6 inches away a few weeks ago.

Damn. I'm right in the middle of the 6-10" band. I wonder of Delaware will close the roads Monday.

The 6-10 just means that there is a tall NBA player in the area.

Tom Cruise is the other number.
