Sounds like an ice storm is in effect from Agusta, GA to Columbia, SC (45 minutes south of my locale) and should start drifting northward towards us later in the day after we get more snow  :speechless:

It's been a doozy so far but nothing like the 18 inches we had here almost exactly 10 years ago :o
Overall, just a mixed bag of frozen shit all day and night now :speechless:

Well we still have power :highfive:
We still have a sleet/snow/freezing rain event going on, but it is winding down here little by little :o

President Obama has declared South Carolina a disaster area. I hope this is related to the snowstorm.  :speechless:

In a lul around here now.

So far not too many power outages around here, but the rain has turned all the snow to thick slush, and it's supposed to turn back to snow tonight and everything is supposed to freeze.

Philly has shut down all buses and some trains.

Now there's another clipper coming through Friday night to add some more snow...

Just announced that this storm puts us over the all time record for number of storms with more than 6 inches of snow.  Normal number of inches of snow by this time is about 20 inches, we are over 50.

Our 10 x 12 gazebo collapsed this morning despite cleaning it off once yesterday evening I guess the freezing rain/sleet combo hidden under this mornings snow fall was too much for it to withstand..  >:(
It might be salvageable, though the ceiling fan may not be. I just don't want to have to waste money on buying another gazebo :-[

President Obama has declared South Carolina a disaster area.

He should have done that when you moved there.
