You guys should only worry if you DON'T have winter weather in the winter.

Now, since it will be around 90 today, make sure the AC is set correctly.

I'm all for winter weather & tons of snow as long as it doesn't keep me from working.  Cuz if I don't work, I don't get paid.

    • Yep, I have a deviantART gallery. But it's pretty cheerful drawings-- no angsty poems or black-and-white photos of wooden chairs.

Cold, even for March, lots of Lake Effect snow in the coming days.

"Early spring" my ass. You're talking shit, groundhog! It's time we all stop listening to you.
I used to have an image here, but Photobucket got cheap about remote linking. I guess I'll have to think of something witty instead. Which I will. Later. It caught me by surprise, in all honesty. It's hard to be clever on command, I mean, YOU try it. Be funny: NOW! See, tough. So, gimme a bit, 'kay?

It's just annoying because it had started to warm up. There was a week where it was mostly in the 40's, then 50's. Now there's snow again.

snow needs to be a one month stand. that's it. then the rest of the year should be a constant fifteen degrees with alternating fortnights of sun and drizzle.

Anybody else got the weird feeling that Norse legends are about to come true?

FIMBULWINTER (from Wikipedia): "Fimbulvetr is the harsh winter that precedes the end of the world and puts an end to all life on Earth. Fimbulwinter is three successive winters where snow comes in from all directions, without any intervening summer. "

I know there have been worse winters but for some reason its a lot more annoying.  Maybe because I'm traveling for work now

Even more incentive for me to find a talisman of Freyr to add to my necklace of godly symbols. ;)

My family in St Louis has 11 inches so far today.   And why I have a fireplace here in Houston and they don't remains a mystery.

It actually looks like it will be pleasant around here, 40s and possibly 50s. Supposedly there is still snow possible, but not anything bad.
