I guessing that all that snow is being dumped into the Indian River that runs under part of the street.  This year the town is celebrating it's 350th anniversary.  Some start for the year.

Well, 350 years ago we were still in the "Little Ice Age," so that's probably similar to how the year started 350 years ago.

Grocery store is practically EMPTY as of an hour ago. I got a gallon of milk and a box of pasta so I'm set for coffee and lunch anyway.

Holy cow. It looks like scenes from a post-apocalypse movie, except your kids are there.

Store must be happy?

Hard to tell. I know they were loading the dumpsters with most of the stuff from the freezer sections this morning since parts of the neighborhood lost power again (and some are still out).

I had to hear "WHY ARE THEY THROWING AWAY THAT HUGE PILE OF WAFFLES AND ALL THAT ICE CREAM?????" from both kids while we were walking through.

Went to K2's house for the weekend.  Raining now, followed by a prediction of 6-10 inches of snow.

Total accumulation: 4 inches. That's a big deal round heuh! :o

Forecast high is in the low 40's so a lot of the snow will be gone after today
