Still holding at 940 mb, but speeding up dramatically, now WNW at 28mph.
The eye will probably hit just south of Atlantic City in a few hours.
Hope it keeps speeding up and gets out of here faster.

I was thinking as scary as this is to go through right now, it's going to be even worse tonight when it gets dark.

Yeah, tonight should be interesting, especially if the power goes out.

Ah, welcome to my hurricane world of Houston.

After you go through one of these, it will make the next ones seem like nothing.

It still seems kinda lame and anticlimactic.  Outside seems more like a miserable day than a natural disaster.

Hope you are still thinking that in about 4 hours when the peak winds hit this area.

I live in southwest Virginia, several miles from the coast, but we are getting some strong winds.  I mean STRONG.  I can just imagine what its like up north.  Getting some snow, working in Bluefield tomorrow, where's its calling for a blizzard.  Yay.  Maybe the doctor will decide to close.

This is the worst part.  The calm before the storm.

Jeez, if anyone on here was going to pick up on a Futurama reference (besides me) I'd have expected it to be you. Way to disappoint.
