I just saw this picture on Imgur. The caption read, "After the earthquake and before the hurricane, my friend's roommate decides to go fishing 5 miles off the coast of NJ."

While visiting an offshore platform in the gulf, one of the guys there had a pretty cool collection of waterspouts.

I "may" have too much in the way of emergency gear and provisions, but hey, chance favors the prepared mind.

I would take that than this 120 degree record breaking 20% humidity weather any time. But hopefully it will squirt out some rain tonight.

Oh, and today we only got up to 95 so Houston's streak of 24 straight days over 100 is OVER.

Of course, it is supposed to be over 100 this weekend and all next week, but the hitting streak is over.

Yet another bullet in the "why k1 won't move to Texas" gun.  I loathe hot weather.

Remember that when your car is covered in ice and snow and I'm sitting on patio grilling in my shorts and flip flops!

I guess every place has some moments of bad weather.   Heck, even San Diego gets the Santa Annas every few years.

You can always put on more clothes in the cold.  But when it's insanely hot at some point you run out of clothes to take off.  And then the cops arrest you for being in public like that.

This, times a billion.

This, times a trillion.

Also, give me winters of snow and ice. Flip flops and shorts in February is just unnatural.
