We're now getting the 30 mph winds that were forecast for earlier. Not snowing, but wind is blowing snow so I'll have to shovel again tomorrow.

Been in the low 70s again here since Monday and Spring-like severe storms will be rolling in as early as this evening and definitely tomorrow..

It's Day 3 of Phase 2 of my HVAC project and power still needs to be run from the unit to the power panel outside so I hope that gets completed before the rains arrive :-\

It was in the 60s yesterday, and will be in the 40s today and the next few days. That is crazy mild for this time of year here near Philadelphia. We have barely had any snow yet all winter.

Day #4 of upper 60s/low 70s here in the Carolinas and we have a Flash Flood watch up for the area..
Had a lot of rain fall late last night to early this morning and now we're in a lull till the next wave of storms rolls in later this morning or early afternoon.
Still a Moderate risk of severe storms predicted here throughout the day :o

Really heavy rains here in central Alabama. Looked out to the ravine in our backyard and the barely-a-trickle of a creek turned into a big ugly creek. Had flashbacks to our previous apartment where we saw our backyard creek rise straight up into our complex. Flash floods are crazy. Fortunately we're about 100 feet higher up now.

Heavy line of storms are about to roll in now so I'm glad I got all my errands done this morning.

Storms have moved on but today the winds have been howling all day :o
It'll be 29 degrees in the morning but we're heading south to Charleston SC to catch our cruise to the Bahamas for a few days where it'll be in the 70s and 80s 8)

We had tornado warnings up at 10am this morning, massive downpours at that time.  Wind gusts have been very strong ever since.

At the time of those 10pm warnings it had gotten to 60°F, at 4pm it was down to 40°F.

And now at 8:30pm it's down in the 30s with light snow...  Clouds are supposed to be gone by midnight with it getting down into the 20s.  So that would be a more than 40 degree drop in about 18 hours.

Wind has been blowing like a son of a bitch out here the last two days, at about 30-40 mph.

SNOW is in our forecast for Thursday Feb. 20 :o
Not much though, maybe 2 possibly 3 inches but could be more sleet than snow depending on the air temperatures aloft..
Time for the locals to swarm the grocery stores for bread & milk and other BS ::)

Sleet started today after lunchtime then changed over to snow for around 6 hours though barely any accumulation due to the warm ground..
Low of 27 tonight so there's sure to be some black ice on the roads overnight and in the morning. Schools and some businesses will be opening late after 10am as a result.
Still nice to finally see some snow around here :o
