All the hype for this storm (several inches of wintery mix) and it was bone dry up until it started raining about 10am, been kind of misting all day, doesn't look like it will get cold enough for it to change away from rain/mist tonight.

And now I don't even see any mention of precipitation for tomorrow night, so that storm seems to have completely fizzled out.

A little flashback in time when I was 8 years old living in Tonawanda outside Buffalo, NY
A look back at Buffalo's storm for the ages: the Blizzard of '77, which began 44 years ago yesterday..

My weather here near Philadelphia is cold but sunny, and we don't have any snow at all. Meanwhile my parents in Upstate New York have a few inches of snow on the ground, and my friends in Virginia Beach have snow as well.

Yeah, this weeks storm was nothing for the Philly area.  Sunday night is supposed to be the next big storm, we'll see.

Meanwhile it's not supposed to go above freezing for the next few days, with lows in the low teens at night.

Over the next 48 hours the Philly area is supposed to get between 3 and 13 inches of snow, so they basically have no idea....

Here it's just been another cold dreary rain with temperatures around 35..
Again so close to getting something frozen but just above freezing to prevent it.

Two hours to shovel the 2 inches of sleet/wet snow off the driveway, light fluffy stuff coming down now and overnight so hopefully it will be a quick job tomorrow to take care of that.

And then we had some unexpected snow flurries here around lunch time..
It was enough to tease us here.

Last night the forecast for Sunday was 4 to 8 inches of snow, today it's 3-5, I hope that trend continues down closer to 1 when the storm arrives tomorrow.

Probably the same storm will be bringing another round of cold-ass rain and the possibility of frozen precipitation Sunday morning before turning back to all rain again :-[

We have moderate to heavy sleet falling in my locale :o
Current temperature is 34 degrees so no freezing (yet) but if we drop another couple degrees.. :speechless:

We've already gotten an inch of snow already and this is supposed to last all day.

Snow has stopped here, only really accumulated on the snow that was already there, bare driveway it just melted into slush that was easy to push around.

It was impressive looking, but as is often true when it's large flakes that usually means it's not going to amount to much, 4 or 5 hours of large flakes coming down and there was only an inch on top of my SUV.
