Looks like future Tropical Storm Olga could be affecting our local weather in the Carolinas early next week :o

Appy-polly-logies RVR. All I can say is... do what you normally do under such circumstances and I'll pray you'll be okay. Good luck.

Thanks, We're all good here.
Just some rains and gusty winds at times but it looks like the worst was west of my locale in Alabama and Tennessee and moved north into the northeast.

4 inches of snow last night. Most of it melted by the end of the day. More snow forecast for Halloween.

The chances of excessive rainfall and severe thunderstorms through Thursday evening here in the mid-Carolinas have increased since yesterday from 5-10% to 10-20% :o

Bigger snow storm last night into today then the one we got on Monday. Still too warm for it to have caused road issues for very long, but temps expected to drop into the teens for a week in a couple of days. Going to be a long winter if things are starting like this.

Got up to 80 degrees before the line of strong storms moved in..
Despite a severe thunderstorm watch as well as a Tornado watch up for the area, all we got was some gusty winds and some steady rains :o

It got up to 75 here this afternoon, and with everything wet from 2 days of rain the humidity was through the roof, the cold front is probably an hour or 2 away, looks like a pretty strong line of storms.

The front took it's time getting here, before midnight it was still 75° and now 20 minutes later it's down to 60.

No thunder but very windy, sustained winds 15 to 20mph, gusts up over 40.

It's official: last night an EF2 Tornado touched down a few miles northwest of my house.

I have a tree down in the back yard, it was already mostly dead and I've been meaning to get someone to cut it down, now I've got to get someone to take it away...

6 inches of snow this morning. Unlike last couple of snowfalls, now cold enough where this is not going to melt and I'm going to have to shovel.

Forecast was for cloudy and low teens for highs. Got temp right, but it's been snowing all day.

Cold dreary rain all day yesterday and gusty winds all day today as a nor easter is developing off the Carolina coast..
Winds were steady 20 to 30 miles an hour from the north east with some gusts over 40mph. :o
