Big snowstorm heading in.  Supposed to start as rain/sleet and then switch over to heavy snow overnight.

Can't remember how many years it's been since we had anything other than heavy wet snow, it's the reason I don't bother buying a snowblower, normal ones can't throw slush very far...

Have 5 feet of snow piled up on both sides of the driveway. City is out of road salt, so side streets (which includes the street we live on) are all covered in about 2 inches of ice. Had to help push the neighbor kid's truck out of a snow bank that he slid into yesterday. Supposed to be a touch above freezing during the day and rain every day for 5 days starting on Saturday.

Ughh!!! Snow wasn't in the forecast early this week, but then the forecast for this weekend was changed to 6 inches of snow tonight. Was supposed to start around 4 PM. Didn't start until about 3 hours later than that, but it's snowing like hell right now. At the point where I'm sick of snow. Hoping it's not like last year when our biggest snowfall of the season (and our last official blizzard) hit the second week of April.

BB sized hail just came pouring down covering everything white, along with some very strong wind gusts, then it switched to pouring rain for a few minutes.

I guess the stuff that came down Friday evening is called "graupel", it's not actually hail but similar, formed by snowflakes interacting with super cooled rain drops, forming white bb sized ice that isn't has hard as hail.

Only 6 other times has there been recorded snow fall in April in the Charlotte area since 1880 and last time was 1982 :o

Got about an inch of snow at home and close to 2 inches south of there at the small post office where I'm at now.
Passed an accident on the way where a SUV plowed into the back of a school bus and the road conditions got worse as I headed to work but made it fine.
Pretty much over as it's changed over to all rain now but was pretty impressive for the couple of hours it did snow.. :o

i, uh... i think i'll wait 'til the afternoon to go out.

i wonder if it's just a glitch, or if someone spilled liquid oxygen on the sensor.

d*F = J

That's almost dry ice temperature.
Quick look for the coldest ever temps in Poland and I see -40 °C, so I'd say it was a glitch.
Forecast for 19 is also a give away, that's a heck of a swing from -60.  (-76°F to +66°F).

Been a dreary morning with a few good downpours..
Definitely washing a lot of the pollen out of the air.
