Record high of 79° here yesterday shattering the old record of 74° in 1999 :o
A cold front will be passing through today and temperatures will drop throughout the day with a cooold weekend with highs in the upper 40s and lows around freezing :speechless:

Last decent day here then it'll be cold and dreary with rain in the forecast all next week and beyond possibly getting up to or over 5 inches of total rainfall  :o

So far for 2019 we've set January and February records for warmest day, coldest day, most snowfall, and most rain.

Snowing like crazy now, then it's supposed to turn to sleet, freezing rain, then rain overnight.

Question is will there be enough rain to wash away 6 inches of snow and sleet overnight, or do I need to shovel the driveway.  Guess I could just wait until tomorrow morning and see what is out there, it's not going to freeze tomorrow (high of 52) so don't have to worry about that.

Yeah, we've gotten at least two inches so far here west of Philly. I think we are supposed to get 5 or 6 inches total.

It has been freezing mist here for a few hours, the trees and wires have a coating of snow with ice on top now, and the lights have flickered a few times.  Hope the power doesn't go out.

Before the freezing rain hit there was about 5 inches of fluffy snow, now there is about 2 inches of heavy snow/ice.
