I just hope the water doesn't rise to the level where you need to utilize your skills as a Sub Driver again RVR...  :o

Local weather can't compare to a hurricane, but higher than usual rainfall amounts plus unusually high temps for September has equaled mosquito hell here over the last couple of days. Not life threatening, but man, went out to do yard word today and the mosquitoes were thicker than the gnat clouds we sometimes see here in late summer. Just opening the back door to let the dogs out results in a mosquito cloud entering the house.

All the rain we had from Florence has done the same thing with the mosquito population here as well..
Temperatures in the mid to upper 80s all week long is just adding to our misery :-[

Speaking of mosquitoes... just last week I was outside when I noticed one feasting on the blood from my forearm, instead of giving into the temptation to smash it to bits I just flicked it off using my index finger and thumb...Now I'm not saying that particular mosquito is dead but... it's dead Jim.

Just one...seriously, I can't walk out into the closed garage without at least 3 or 4 latching on right now. Had to go in and put on a thin hooded sweatshirt (despite the heat) and change out of my shorts just to do yardwork today. I've actually become somewhat immune to being overly bothered by them over the last couple of years (thankfully don't have chiggers here like I used to have to deal with down South and I never developed any type of immunity to them), but the over abundance of them the last couple of days has elevated my usual low annoyance and my poor wife who doesn't have my immunity has multiple swelling welts thanks to the bastards.

Hmmm, Never cared for Doug(or any of the characters on the show). I'd rather go back and watch Rocko's Modern Life. Wasn't there an episode where Rocko had to evacuate because of an oncoming Typhoon?

Rocko is definitely superior. I enjoy Doug from time to time tho.

I was trying to find the ep you’re talking about but couldn’t find anything (and I don't remember one like it). However, I *did* find out that an hour long revival special is due out some time this year. :)
