It looks like instructions on how to put a condom on Florida.

In 'The Calm Before the Storm' news..
From NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREENVILLE-SPARTANBURG SC:
Quote
...RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE SET AT CHARLOTTE NC THIS MORNING...

THE TEMPERATURE FELL TO 52 DEGREES THIS MORNING AT THE CHARLOTTE
DOUGLAS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.  THIS BROKE THE OLD RECORD FOR
CHARLOTTE NC OF 54 DEGREES SET IN 1988.
It felt nice ;D

Harvey was about to become the costliest hurricane in U.S. history, then Irma comes along and said "Hold My Beer..." :speechless:

    • Yep, I have a deviantART gallery. But it's pretty cheerful drawings-- no angsty poems or black-and-white photos of wooden chairs.

I feel like I'm in one of the few parts of the country that isn't underwater, ABOUT to be underwater, or on fire.

Stay safe.
I used to have an image here, but Photobucket got cheap about remote linking. I guess I'll have to think of something witty instead. Which I will. Later. It caught me by surprise, in all honesty. It's hard to be clever on command, I mean, YOU try it. Be funny: NOW! See, tough. So, gimme a bit, 'kay?

What we need is an advanced weather distribution system where the hurricanes are diverted to put out the fires.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing yesterday: these things are hitting the wrong coast.

The remnants of Irma's eastern fringes are passing over me and we've had steady winds around 30mph and gusts over 40mph with higher gusts over 50mph expected this evening and overnight..
My parents lost power over an hour ago and have no idea when they will get power back :o
Lots of rain off and on today with 2 inches so far and more to come overnight.
