My Crazy-Ass Local Weather
« on: January 28, 2009, 09:07:38 AM »
www.thefuckingweather.com

The crazy weather lately from Thunderstorms to Freezing precipitation kinda got me started with this thread..
Also, I am a Weather Nut! Like 'Dusty' in the movie 'Twister'.. I would've Loved to be a Storm Chaser but reality took me down another career path..
I was in Hurricane Hugo in Charleston, SC back in Sept. 1989, and I Loved It!! That was the Most Intense adrenaline rush I've ever had! >:D

Anyway, it's currently 65 degrees and storms are on the way, with a possibility of frozen precipitation later tonight.. :scared:

Hmmm, having lived in Tulsa, OK (tornado alley), St. Louis Missouri (freaking cold weather), I can say that I love the weather in Houston more.

Sure, you get an odd hurricane every so often, but at least I know I wont get snow or freezing rain.

Yep when I'm slipping and sliding in slush and I try to clean nasty salt rich crud off my car windows I can't tell you how appealing Texas seems.

Can't say I miss Texas' weather much. Having 11 months of summer with maybe one month's (if we were lucky) worth of non-summer type weather in a year's time sucked ass, especially when it'd be a humid 85 degrees on Christmas day. The only thing I miss are the thunderstorms, the mildest of which in Tx make the most severe of which here in NM look like picnic weather.

Winters in the southeast are always 'yo-yo'..

Tomorrow, we'll be at 65, Monday we'll be around 61, then another storm Monday night with another possibility of some frozen precip.. ???

Dusty wasnt so much a storm chaser as he was a free food chaser.  He is like the mooch who hangs around and asks if you are going to eat that.  He really had no job other that bieng the obligitory crazy/ comic relief.

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.
