Kirkman presents things in such a naturalistic fashion, that when he throws in a dramatic flourish, it really stands out.

I swear I could hear a dramatic musical emphasis when I read that last page.

Just finished the 4th book, starting on the 5th soon.  Am I wrong in thinking the prison jumpsuits were a bad idea for a clothing option?

Hehe, true, it just seems to me...if some some sort of organized law force happened to show up at the prison, then maybe Rick and friends would have a difficult time convincing them that they aren't prisoners themselves.

This is a great series, but it's just felt anti-climatic to me since the prison. Even the recent

seemed to lack impact.

BTW, the pilot for an AMC series of The Walking Dead has been greenlit.

Hey want to vote for your favourite comic books?  Vote for that as the list of crap you want to see (or vote for one of the other ones if that tickles your fancy) here:

Okay, was the spirit of Garth Ennis summoned when the Governor was being crafted?!! That was so fuckin' twisted.  :P

Yeah, that part of the book went pretty far.  And the worst (by which I mean best) is yet to come.  This book is not afraid to tear out your still beating heart and stomp on it.  I've still yet to get Vol. 11, but I plan to sometime in the near future.
