I didn't think they even made music videos anymore...

Anyways, gotta put in a vote for "November Rain" by Guns'N'Roses. So insanely overwrought, pretentious and earnest... but somehow it works. Still, my all time favorite would probably be "Sabotage" by The Beastie Boys.

So after two months, I finally watched the Muse video.  "A" for effort, but where were the Zombie Pirate Monkeys?

Word Scramble: MUCK FUSE
Snowhead the Blue Reindeer gave me all the presents in the world.

They don't. (Well, the Disney version of the band does, but I'll ignore that little fact.) This is circa 1981-2, back when MTV was new, shiny and "Road Rules" free.

"Eat It"   by Weird Al.

Only because i have to laugh in a world that is to serious at times, also i grew up with this video when MTV was still MTV, not RTV - Reality TV.     ::)

that's the thing: they make TONS of music videos still, but NOONE SHOWS THEM ANYMORE!!  it really ticks me off, because i'm a VJ,but can't get a copy of any recent music videos to save my life.

example: did you know there's at least 3 videos for the raconteurs (aka jack white WHITE STRIPES) album?

i have about 8 videos by muse. not that you get to see them ever.

There isn't a way to contact the bands and get broadcast quality videos?

My pick for the best video ever!  Proof that something can be lame and awesome at the same time.  God, I miss the 80's sometimes!

(sorry about the VH1.com link and their Vspot player, but this isn't on youtube.)

That was EXACTLY like watching Ricardo Montalban fondling a mannish, jumpsuit-wearing girl.

A-Ha - Take On Me   because it's all 80's and comic bookey and awesome
and
Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight, Tonight  because I love the Georges Melies style art design.
