Best Music Video Ever
« on: December 13, 2006, 09:00:19 AM »
Regardless of what your opinion is of the band Muse, (I was sort of "eh"), it's impossible not to gain an immense amount of respect for them after watching the spectacular video they made for "Knights of Cydonia"

I dont usually watch music videos. But I must admit I like this one allot.
Nice to see someone making a video that is unique and has character to it.

That was pretty good, Conor.  The bad guy/bass player looks like the bastard child of James Hetfield and Tom Waits!

I remember the Super Furry Animals doing some neat-o videos awhile back.

I love Muse and I've never seen that video before. It has a kind of uniqueness that reminds me of Six String Samurai.

Very nice.  I thought the random band overlays were unnecessary, but very nice all the same.

"Only one man could kill this many Russians. Bring his guitar to me!"

"Nice tuxedo. Nice tuxedo TO DIE IN!"

Six-String Samurai, baby.

Muse are fantastic. What other Rock band would release a single with a two-minute instrumental intro? Top vocal middle bit too.

Black Holes and Revelations is definitely among my Top Ten of 2006 albums, and that's despite not being their best.

I am not up on current videos, but I have to go old school on you with "Love Stinks" by The J. Geils Band.

I think the video for Genesis's "Land of confusion" is the best music video ever. It's very creative, chock full of pop culture, and is very funny.

I loved the video and I really liked Black Holes and Revelations.....also if you have ever heard of Richard C. Hoagland and his crazy theories about the face on mars it makes that song so much better.
