BEETLEJUICE! BEETLEJUICE! BEETLEJUICE!

And yeah, I know, I know, but I'm not gonna stop voicing my opinion on a certain subject just because some pissy 17-year-old throws a fit everytime I do so.

I think it's really about time we start ignoring him, actually.  It's not even fun to taunt him anymore.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail-
Still a good movie, but it's been too oft quoted, so the impact of the jokes are lessened.
From XKCD-

I couldnt disagree more about Monty Python being quoted too much, and I also disagree with stansimpsons opinion about the dark kinnnnnnnigit!                                                                                    ni!
You disagree with hoping my prediction is wrong?
no. I was just trying to squeeze "the dark kinnnnigit joke in there somehow":)

Just to add to the argument, Rocky Horror is and always has been about 14% interesting, 4% good, and 82% fan love. Watch it alone, you'll more likely than not find it annoying with hints of cleverness. Watch it with friends, and it's a damn good time. Watch it with cross dressers, and it's an evening.

Ohhhh, that must be why Caddyshack isn't funny.

Wait, no... it was never funny. (Excepting Bill Murray's scenes, but that's like a whole other movie anyway.)

No Respect, No Respect...Hey!

I have only watched Rocky Horror alone, thank you. The commentary is quite good.

Thank Pan, I thought I was the only one who doesn't find this movie funny, actually even Murray is sub par (see what I did there?) in this one, and I love his early performances for the most part.

Snakes on a Plane. The fans acually ruined it before it came out. Now that was a first. When you first heard about this movie its utter audacity made it sound brilliant. But, then it came out and it completely dissapointed. The movie was too self-conscience and ended up trying too hard. It seemed like a 90 minute SNL sketch that took itself too seriously.
I really do like pie.

Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings.  I don't think I need to explain.

No. No, you do not.

Although in my opinion, that film was ruined the moment Bakshi signed on as director.

No, the both of you are thinking of Peter Jackson's films.

Jeez, you guys might as well shout "Candyman" again and again...   :)

Are you referring to yourself in this sentence?

Yeah! Fuck Tom Wopat!

I'd like to toss Firefly in here. Love the show, but jeez... browncoats can be really obnoxious. This might almost boil over into all Whedon fans, even though I too slavishly purchase everything he writes. I just refuse to ever ever ever wear a "Whedon is my master" shirt OR to forgive him for Alien Resurrection.

Michelle Kwan. No, that wasn't an answer to your question, ImOscardotcom. :) I was just reminded of her by this talk about crazy fans. She has more than her share, and they tend to drive other skating fans nuts. (I wouldn't be a bit surprised if one of them popped up here and screeched, "HOW DARE YOU!!?!? KWAN IS KWEEN!!!!")

That wasn't off-topic. Peter Jackson DID direct a adaptation of LOTR.
