Whoops. My bad. It was actually Poison Ivy I had misplaced (That's why I put Bane in with her.) It was Two-Face who was the other villian in Batman Forever. :^)

And yes. I thought Jim Carey made an excellent Riddler. :^)

Personally, I hate the Frank Gorshin/Jim Carrey style Riddler. They both did excellent jobs, but they just weren't the Riddler to me. He's always been my favorite Bat-villain, and I hate seeing him manic and prancing around like that. That's the Joker.

Any and all Nature or animals gone wild movies. Scifi made movies are the worst, but I keep watching them. I love the 70's movies of that genre.

Yeah, Galaxy Quest was awesome.  Alan Rickman and Tony Shalhoub crack me up every time I watch it.

Personally, I hate the Frank Gorshin/Jim Carrey style Riddler.

I've always thought Steve Martin would have been excellent as the Riddler, he just has that comical, yet dignified exterior and underneath is a highly intellectual personality.  *shrug*  And the banjo would just be cream in the coffee.  *Nod*

GalaxyQuest?  LOVE it!  My favorite character is Guy.  No last name for most of the movie, just "Guy"  *laugh*

Hmm... Steve Martin as the Riddler. That's brilliant. He's a little too old now, but that's a cool direction to go in.

I have always been partial to B:TAS's Riddler.  I'm not sure I think "manic" should even apply to this guy, really.

Like nearly every other aspect of Batman, the animated series nailed the Riddler. At least until the redesign when they put him in tights, but he hardly appeared after that.

I LOVE the Animated Series.  B:TAS and X-Men are the only two shows I watched as a kid that are actually BETTER when I watch them now.  And I loved them back then, too.

Hm, I guess there is a lot of love for Galaxy Quest. At the time I remember really enjoying it myself, but among the people I knew there was a, I don't want to say dislike, but a tangible lack of enthusiasm for the film. I must have been running with the wrong crowd. ;D

Theres some love for Waterworld on here, makes me feel better about my dirty secret  :-[

*raises hand cautiously*  they should have called it "cool boat!"

So if I have it right this is a "guilty pleasures" thread, but not really. I'm up for that.
Lessee...

Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins
Nothing like the books, not much happened in it, it's as 80's as all get-out, but it's one of those movies that's just compulsively watchable. I wish they'd made more.

x2. love that movie

I have always liked The 5th element so was especially pleased that Mike chose that. Also enjoyed Lost in space,

I love the Tremors series. It's nice to see a series get better over time, even if it's only beacuse the first time wasn't the good. I even enjoyed the prequel.

I question why this topic isn't in the Movies board.  Any reasons?

Oh, and yes, I enjoy Super Mario Brothers, I'm sorry.

Not sure about the other two (unless you're talking about Adam West's Batman...or any Batman movie besides B&R), but I also liked Lake Placid.  That movie contains too many great lines for me not to enjoy it.  ("He seemed...taller.")
