I'm not sure that the top 10 most requested would reflect those actually willing to purchase iRiffs vs official rifftrax.  So if you want to submit suggestions here if you're actually willing to make iRiff purchases, I can see this thread being useful.

Yeah, I was just thinking that instead of waiting for-Friggin-ever for the RiffTrax guys to riff our movies, the iRiffers could take'em on in the meantime  :-\

So far the only movie on here I've seen more than one mention of is the Patriot. Oh yeah, and Buttercream Gang. Hmm. My mom has a VHS of that....

Hmm. I went through the whole thread again and it seems the only request on here for any movie that I actually own is Pitch Black. If I did a riff for that, would there be any sort of demand for it?

Recording a riff and getting it to synced up has proven to be too much trouble for me so if anyone wants to riff Doctor Who I'll buy that track.

A few of the episodes of the recent series (the Christopher Eccleston/David Tennant ones) are on our list, but it might be awhile. We've also got plans to do the pilot episode of "Firefly" and a few episodes of "House".

The RiffTrax guys already did THE FIFTH ELEMENT, so why are people requesting that as a future riff?

Cause it could be redone instead of just a Mike Nelson commentary track..
There's just a lot of 'dead air' that could be filled with 2 or more riffers:-\

He thinks I'm "people"
(actually for one week I did change my name to Alpha-and-OmegaRowsdower and had a conversation betwixt myself)

and as long as I'm here, may as well blaspheme a bit more and say

"The Night of the Living Dead" would be a good target

Plan 9 and Living Dead are kind of the obvious targets. They're both public domain and popular b-movies. Plus Rifftrax already did both of them. (Twice in the case of Plan 9). It just seems too easy, somehow. And I don't think people really need to see another riff of them.

Of those two, NOTLD would be better to do.  The existing Mike commentary is fun, but its more like a parody of a filmmakers commentary than the regular riffing style.  Then again there's plenty of material in sequels/remakes/retreads and so forth if someone wanted to avoid the riffed original.
