Today I read the Graphic Novel Adaptation of an alternate version to Alien 3. I really hate to say this, but I am REALLY disappointed. For one...*SPOILERS* Ripley is asleep the WHOLE goddamn time. Also, Newt has no dramatic purpose in the story. I like that Hicks has a big role in the story, as does Bishop, but the whole of the story is occupied by all these other bland, forgettable characters. Do I prefer it to Alien 3 theatrical? Yes... but if you know my opinion of Alien 3 theatrical, that's a pretty low bar to clear.

Now... as far as advancing the overall story of Alien? It does very little. It's basically little more than a side-story with very low ambitions and a very narrow, uninteresting story and scope to match.

If I am being honest... I much prefer Prometheus. I am very, VERY disappointed in the Alien 3 alternate version.

Marvel/comixology have made made every single issue of Black Panther (and the Shuri series) free.

It's single issues only, so you have to go through and add them individually - and the cart will only allow 150 items at a time, so you'll have to do it in two lots.

Website only, not the app, I believe.

Just found out that Gold Key put out a few Robin Hood comics in the 70s.  Yes the Disney one.
