I read this old comic and...

"Smash Heads on a Kill-Riddle" is an expression I need to fit into everyday life.

Also this.

Manga legends Monkey Punch (Lupin III) and Koike Kazuo (Lone Wolf and Cub) died this week.  They will be missed.

I don't do a lot of anime and manga, but Lupin III is one I recommend in a heartbeat. The Manga is great pulpy fun if you can get past Monkey Punch's confusingly-similar character designs and tendency to slip in half-naked women whenever he could.

Reminder: Free Comic Book Day is this Saturday. Pop into whatever shady part of town your local comic book store has taken root in, drop in, maybe buy a trade paperback for a new series you've been interested in and grab some free comics. Here's a list of what you can get:

The highlight for me is always the new issue of The Tick, but I've been wanting to check out the Stranger Things comic, and I'm not one to turn down a free Spider-Man comic.

Nooooo....

First West Coast Avengers, then Spider-Man/Deadpool (Seriously a better Deadpool book than Deadpool) and now this. My pull list is looking kind of light.

If you would have told me when I was a kid that some day there would be a comic book crossover between Transformers and Star Trek it would have blown my goddamn mind. Yet here we are, 30-something years later with that exact crossover just released today through Amazon.

These two from my collection are the crossovers that would've sufficiently blown my little child mind:

Is it as disappointing as his Al Capone's Vault video?

I was keeping this one up my sleeve, but I think it's time I play it.... Don Rickles Meets Jimmy Olsen!
