How do you rate this Riff?

On 2 hour plus trax I've started watching 'em over 2 nights. Doing that has improved the 2nd half of those (longer) films greatly.

So for me, the 2nd half was just as funny.

Based on this comment, I just realized that you're the esteemed Mighty Jack.  Kudos on your review site, which has been a highly entertaining and useful resource for me personally for a number of years now.

And I'm glad you gave The Day After Tomorrow another shot with your new two-part viewing process.  I consider it a criminally underrated track, so I'm happy to see it getting some much-needed love.

Meh. There were a few very funny lines here an there, but, much like the movie itself, it was more or less generic and unmemorable.

There did seem to be some blandness to it. But there was a collection of lines that made it all worth it.

For my personal nerdy scoring system, it got a 9.34 so on the poll i gave it a 9.

This CRUSHED the first X movie in my eyes as a riff, and I too was tired of the Magneto/Cerebro thing but Bill's frustration made it funny.  I personally am  huge fan of the first 2 X movies without the riffs and I greatly enjoyed this effort.



Now this made me wonder: At some point do we get to see them take on the craptastic Ratner-ruined X3 sorta dark phoenix/Jean in a pissy mood "movie"?

Just watched this one.  I had to give it a 10, since they referred to my "Where Do I Poop?" joke from the Batman And Robin Rifftrax.

For me, this was one of the most solid RiffTrax ever.  I can't remember a time I laughed so hard and consistently.  Perhaps it was the fact that we had to stop half-way through.  I used to have the belief that the guys would always run outta steam towards the end, but now I really believe I run outta steam.  I will adopt this new split-up technique.  It worked wonders.  Going back to the movie was kinda hard, but we were laughing our butts off right from the 2nd start (which nobody thought could happen).  Also, i looove the Magneto/Cerebro jokes.  I hated them by the end of the first one, but, on multiple viewings, I've come to really enjoy them.  I am totally there for whenever X3 is released.  I also didn't notice any "filler" jokes.  Probably because I was laughing at a previous joke so hard.  I dunno.  Absolutely loved this.  It's the first time I've ever decided instantly on a 10. 

Btw Mighty Jack, great site.  I have a friend who quotes your site like it were RottenTomatoes and IMDb combined.
